I get an error 1020.
Error 1020 is usually linked to a restrictive firewall. If you are in your company, ask your IT if they can help you.

I get an error 1004.
Error 1004 is usually linked to a browser error. To fix the error you can do the following:

• Update your browser
• Restart your browser or computer
• Disable all add-ons that could affect the functionality of web pages, e.g.,
  • l' blocker,
  • NoScript,
  • Proxy Manager,
  • etc.
• Switch to another supported browser

I get an error NotReadableError: Could not start video source.
This error occurs when the browser cannot find a webcam. This is usually due to the client device.

Whether the fault is in the device can be tested on a page like this https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/getusermedia/gum/

Possible causes for the error are:

• There is no webcam available or the webcam is not supported by the operating system (e.g. driver problems)
• The webcam is used by another application

If this error occurs, it may also be worthwhile to open the camera in another application, e.g., VLC; (VLC) if the webcam does not work here either, the problem is caused by your operating system. Howto in VLC
Media > Open Capture Device… > Capture mode = DirectShow; Video device name = Select your webcam > Click "Play"
